Pridáme 2 celé ošúpané cibule, 5 strúčikov cesnaku, 2 bobkové listy, celé korenie a soľ. Prikryté uvaríme do mäkka. Kapustu nakrájame na tenké rezance, osolíme a na 20 minút odložíme. Potom z kapusty vytlačíme šťavu a dáme variť asi do 2 litrov vody. Pridáme 2 celé cibule, 3 strúčiky cesnaku, niekoľko zrniečok čierneho korenia, 2 polámané bobkové listy a prikryté necháme hodinu variť. Do zohriatej masti nasypeme múku, zaprášime červenou paprikou a pripravíme zásmažku. Podlejeme paradajkovou šťavou a prilejeme 3 naberačky vývaru z kolena. Vmiešame do uvarenej kapusty. Hotové koleno vyberieme, necháme vychladnúť, nakrájame na plátky a podávame s kapustou.
